The compoundeur measures the color of the pellets usually with a spectrophotometer. For this measurement it is necessary to produce a pressplate of the pellets. This measurement takes usually about 20 - 40 minutes. Each minimizing of this measurement time saves hard cash for the compounding plant.
The innovative ROC-ColorControl system measures the color not on the pressplate, it measures directly on the pellets. The measurement occurs with illuminant D65 and 10°-observer within approx. 3 minutes. The standard deviation during 50 reproduction measurements with particular new positions of the pellet samples is typically below a dE of 0,1.
Detailed information about the system, with which you can save easily costs per compounding line of several hundred thousand EURO per year, you will find on the following pages.
